Explore & Connect

The day begins with time to recharge — whether through yoga, spa, or a social run — before we come together for shared experiences in the historic surroundings of Kronborg Castle and Elsinore.

As evening falls, we gather for Nordic dining, celebration, and unforgettable moments together — ending the night with music, drinks, and great company at the hotel.

12:00-12:30: Scenic group walk to Kronborg Castle (20 minutes)

12:30-14:00: Classic open-faced sandwich lunch at Kronborg Castle (The Wine Cellar)

14:00-16:30: Team activity at Kronborg and historic Elsinore (120-150 minutes)

16:30-18:00: Free time at the hotel

18:00: Group walk to Marienlyst Castle

18:30-18:45: Drinks upon arrival

19:00-21:00: New Nordic-themed dinner

20:00: Award Show from the Team Walk

21:30-22:00: Detour on party bus back to Marienlyst Beach Hotel (30 minutes)

Sunday, October 4th

Recharge & Depart

The final morning invites you to slow down and recharge with optional wellness activities before enjoying breakfast together and a relaxed close to the retreat.

From the hotel, transfers will bring everyone onward to Copenhagen and the IBA Conference — carrying new memories and stronger connections with you.

Dinner is cooked over an open fire, where seasonal Nordic ingredients are prepared directly over the flames, giving the meal a distinct, smoky character rooted in nature and simplicity.

Guests dine outdoors in a cozy tent close to the beach, creating an informal and atmospheric setting. Long tables and soft lighting set the scene for a warm, intimate shared meal, with the sea and night air just outside.

The combination of fire-cooked food, the coastal surroundings, and the tented seaside setting creates a grounded and memorable evening focused on good food and togetherness.

Lunch in the Wine Cellar at Kronborg Castle

As part of your experience, the group will be invited to a private lunch in the atmospheric King Frederik the 2nd’s wine cellar, where you’ll enjoy the classic smørrebrød (open-faced sandwiches).

Surrounded by centuries of history, guests will gather in a private space that feels both authentic and secluded—far from the everyday, yet deeply rooted in Danish culture.

The lunch features a selection of traditional Danish smørrebrød, prepared with high-quality, seasonal ingredients and presented with a modern touch. Classic flavours are elevated through careful craftsmanship, allowing guests to experience the essence of Danish culinary heritage at a historic significant location.

In addition to the lunch, we can serve a variety of schnapps for people to enjoy - as its often paired with open-faced sandwiches.

King’s Kitchen Dinner

You are invited to an exclusive New Nordic dining experience at the beautifully restored Marienlyst Castle.

Set within the historic surroundings of the former royal residence, the setting blends timeless architecture with modern Scandinavian design. Large windows open toward the sea, allowing natural light and the shifting colors of the horizon to become part of the experience.

Dinner is themed around “The King’s Kitchen” - seasonal, local, and refined. Each dish highlights the best ingredients from the region, presented with simplicity and elegance.

Served in a private dining space reserved exclusively for your group, the atmosphere is both sophisticated and relaxed.

Party, drinks and DJ

After dinner, it is time to shift gears and let the evening unfold into celebration. Guests are picked up directly in a private party bus, where the atmosphere is immediately lifted with drinks, music, and a curated selection of the best hits. Over the course of the next 30 minutes, the bus becomes a moving party through the surrounding area, setting the tone for a lively and shared experience.

The good vibes continues upon arrival at Marienlyst Beach Hotel, where the conference space has been transformed into a private nightclub for the group. With its own bar and DJ, the setting offers an exclusive and vibrant environment where guests can continue the night in style - dancing, socialising, and enjoying the energy of a truly memorable evening together.
