Companies in the wilderness
At R26 , we work purposefully with nature connection and nature understanding as a real tool for strengthening community, engagement, and mental well-being.
In dialogues with companies, we repeatedly find that this hits on something central: experiences, presence, stress reduction, biodiversity, and a sustainable agenda, where the employee's relationship with nature becomes a driving force rather than a side project.
At the same time, we are seeing a clear trend: more workplaces are seeking out nature.
In everyday life. For off-sites. For strategy days and conferences.
The obvious answer has long been "glamping" – nature, but at a distance. Comfortable. Controlled. Often close to the classic hotel stay.
But we believe it can be done better
In recent years, we have developed more authentic nature experiences that can complement and challenge the usual formats. Experiences where nature is not just a backdrop, but an active participant. Where you step out of the familiar without letting go of the professional and business objectives.
How does it work?
There is no one right way to go into the wilderness.
When you join R26 in the Wilderness, we don't start with a set program, but with a conversation. We know that companies and teams are different. Some are looking for peace and reflection. Others want challenges, movement, and new perspectives. Most want a little bit of everything.
That is why your stay is always flexible and tailored to your needs, wishes, and ambitions.
You choose the overall direction of the experience: comfort level, intensity, and setting. From there, we design the program together, focusing on what is important to you. Along the way, we stick to what never changes: high quality, well-thought-out experiences, and a community where everyone can participate.
Our role is to create a safe environment, take care of the practicalities and details, and guide you through the experience. Your role is to show up curious, open, and ready to be present.
The result is a stay that does not feel like a standard concept, but rather a unique nature experience that will be remembered for a long time to come.
Three levels
Safe surroundings and natural tranquility
This stay is for those who want to unplug—without sacrificing comfort.
You will stay indoors in a fixed setting, while the activities, meals, and communal moments of your stay will take place in close connection with the surrounding nature.
Nature is actively used as a setting for reflection, conversation, and community, but there is always the option to withdraw. It is nature that sets the mood, not requirements.
An obvious choice for teams who want to get closer to nature at a calm and accessible pace.
Here, you can get out into nature.
Accommodation, activities, and meals are provided at our established camp in the middle of nature. You will sleep well on a firm bed, close to the starry sky, and hear the crackling of the campfire when you close your eyes. Nature is no longer just a backdrop; it is the setting. This creates stronger shared experiences, more cooperation, and a natural shift in pace and focus.
For teams who want a full nature experience within a safe and structured framework.
Nature as a setting - Accommodation and community in open, natural surroundings
On nature's terms -
Raw. Simple. Connected.
This is the most uncompromising experience. Here, you adapt to nature—not the other way around.
You will sleep in primitive (but safe) conditions, cook together from ingredients you have gathered and prepared yourselves, and stay in the middle of nature in the most literal sense of the word. The comforts are simple, but the experience is intense. When everyday life is removed and the setting is simplified, there is room for deep reflection, clear insights, and strong relationships.
For teams that want to challenge their habits and experience what happens when you let go and let nature take control.
